To the extent such products are a part of production at Hagens Spring Group, they are handled safely, transported and disposed of in accordance with all regulations and environmental laws.
REACH
Among others, Hagens Spring Group is subject to the EU regulation REACH – Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals.
The aim of REACH is to ensure that more than 100,000 different types of chemicals that are used in the EU are documented with regard to safety for people and the environment.
RoHS
The RoHS directive - The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive - is a EU directive that places restrictions on hazardous materials used in electronic and electrical equipment – including lead, mercury and cadmium.
ISO 14001
Hagens Spring Group works in accordance with the international environmental management system ISO 14001.
